If you’re a curvy girl I get you, I get the dread of many women shopping in high street stores because of the famous question will it fit? But fear no more I’m on hand to help with my guide to Opera Lane. I range between 3 sizes myself depending on style and fit of the item so I’ve spent my life first hand learning how to dress for shape. Not a lot of people know that the average size woman in Ireland is a size 14 and the days of dressing just to cover up are well gone. There are more ways to dress your curves and accentuate your silhouette then just draping yourself in all black all the time.
River Island and New Look do up to size 18 with additional curve ranges ranging up to size 30 while Next do up to size 22 and have a wide fit shoe range as well . I’ve chosen 3 looks from NEXT which are suitable for all shapes and sizes , can be mixed and matched and take you from day to night .

I love an all black outfit so I’ve chosen funky snakeskin effect heels @ €92, black high waist skinny jeans with hidden support panel to lift and sculpt your figure @ €67 (their selection of jeans come in leg lengths up to 35″ by the way). Black embellished jacket @ €111 and a white cami top on the inside for a fresh look .
Who says big girls can’t wear stripes! This dress is a fantastic figure shaper, it vertical stripes create an optical illusion and elongating effect. @ €81 I just love this striking piece for any event or occasion.
