Well you can’t deny it’s beginning to look a bit like Summer. With the rain being so bad recently it was hard to think of shopping for lovely, bright Summer pieces but now that the sun is starting to shine I’m feeling ready to make some new season purchases. I’ve picked some of my favourite pieces that will see you through the Summer and more importantly lots of these pieces can be layered up to make them wardrobe staples all year round.
Bomber from H&M.
The bomber jacket is without a doubt the jacket to have for 2016. It looks great dressed up or down and provides a welcome layer for those chillier evenings.
Blouse from H&M.
Ruffles are big news for Summer and this blouse will look great with denim shorts or a denim skirt or can be adapted for workwear with a pair of polka dot cigarette trousers.
Skirt from Topshop.
I find it hard to wear denim shorts in my every day life so the denim skirt is perfect. It literally goes with everything! Invest now if you haven’t already.
Shirt dress from Next.
A shirt dress is so super handy. I love the print and colour of this one from Next which would be great with tan sandals or thrown over your bikini on holiday.
Trousers from New Look.
I live in cosy trousers like this in the summer plus the vertical stripes will give you legs like a supermodel….well we can dream anyway!
Bag from River Island.
It’s so easy to add colour to your wardrobe with a bag from River Island. I love the patchwork style on this one plus it will easily hold all your bits and bobs.
Shoes from Office.
The mule isn’t the easiest shoe to wear but it’s so on trend right now. The reasonably low and chunky heels on this Office pair make them easier to wear and the buttery soft suede makes them super lux.
