Guest Blogger: Shin Hayes of Thinking Out Loud
This month we are delighted to have blogger Shin Hayes from Thinking Out Loud as our guest blogger. Shin is a busy Mum of three with a great sense of style and a fantastic outlook on life. Shin has been blogging for a relatively short amount of time but has already amassed a loyal following and has won a number of awards from Hi Magazine, Gillette and was named as one of RSVP magazines One To Watch. Here she talks about her favourite stores on Opera Lane and has put together three looks from her top trends this season.
With my daily routine being as hectic as it is due to being a mother of three, I rarely have the time to venture into the city center. When the chance does present itself my first port of call is always “Opera Lane” and inevitably I find myself drawn in by the unbelievable convenience of having so many high street stores in such close proximity.
For me the absolute clinching factor is the fact that three of my favourite retail outlets are all located within a short stroll of each other those being New Look, H&M and River Island and I know that I can dress myself from head to toe in any of these stores. A quick example of this ability is demonstrated in the accompanying images of a head to toe outfit I’ve put together from each of the stores. These outfits allude to this seasons big trends of floral and stripes.
I love the fact that on either side of the street there are stores bustling with sales assistants who are not only knowledgeable on their own products, all the current colours and trends but have the same enthusiasm for fashion as I do, people like this make the sometimes stressful situation of putting together the “perfect outfit” less taxing and frankly quite enjoyable.
Another one of the advantages of Opera Lane is that it caters for both sexes; there are plenty of stores for your man to browse while you decide where to spend his hard earned money! 🙂
I hope you like the three looks I’ve put together which are perfect for a night on the town, a girlie lunch date or a family event.
